Terence Donovan was an Australian actor, best known for his roles in films such as "Don's Party", "Gallipoli", "The Club" and "The Lighthorsemen". He was born on March 17, 1942, in Redfern, Sydney, Australia. Donovan began his career in theater, working with the Melbourne Theatre Company and the Sydney Theatre Company. He made his film debut in 1971 in "Wake in Fright" and went on to become a prominent figure in Australian cinema in the 1970s and 1980s.
Donovan was also a television actor and appeared in many popular Australian TV series, including "Division 4", "Homicide", and "Skyways". He was awarded the Australian Film Institute Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role for his performance in "Don's Party" in 1977. Donovan's last major acting role came in 2010 with the film "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader". He passed away on August 4, 2020, at the age of 78.
